Ghatasthapana, the first day of Dashain
And it is kept in a corner of the house to germinate. And the Brahmin priests pray to God that in your presence today I am starting the puja. Along with the Jamara, a Kalash is also filled with holy water, in which water the priest worships according to his time and it is believed that on this day, Goddess Durga will reside in this Kalash throughout Navratri.
And this puja is kept in the room, this Jamara and the water in the Kalash are kept and the door and Kalash are closed from the outside. The puja is also performed in the morning. And it is kept inside, protected from sunlight. To protect it, the planted barley is protected as a main crop and the planted barley is also worshipped.
Not only the Kalash is worshipped, both are worshipped and finally the barley kept in this way and the water in the Kalash are soaked in water. On the tenth day, the barley grows into a 5 to 6-inch-long yellow-colored plant called Jamara. This method continues for seven days.
